Put a cork in it.

Local super-restaurant (and long-time collaborator of Odd Standard), the two-starred Re-naa came to us with a bit of an issue: How to display the wine corks for those rather fancy bottles served night after night. One thing led to another, as often happens when wine is involved, and that was the start of our cork blocks.

Both the wine block and the champagne block can be used on two sides, one for displaying one cork and one for displaying two. The wine corks are displayed lying down while the champagne ones stand up.

The wine cork block displays one cork on one side and two corks if you turn it around.

Champagne corks are displayed standing up, with one or two corks.

Our rather scruffy looking cardboard model served the purpose of verifying the size.

We work with 3D models both for visualization and to make production drawings for 3D prints.

These 3D prints are used to make the production moulds in plaster.
